High Value Utility

High Value Utility is the MasterCard Interchange Fee for a high value rewards card credit transaction by a registered utility.

Primary Qualifications:

• Transaction can be full magnetic stripe read or key-entered. Transaction settled within 1 days of authorization authorization response data included in settled transaction.
• Transactions must be from a 4900 sic code.
• Registration is required and the assigned registration code must be passed to MasterCard in the settlement record.
• The sixth position of the approval code must be either an S” meaning participation in MasterCard High Value or “T” meaning participation in MasterCard High Value and MasterCard Product Graduation.
